A dedicated one day auditing training course to provide delegates who intend to perform audits with the basic knowledge of the purpose and benefits of internal audits and the process for conducting them. It will be invaluable for those who need to act as auditee when audited by another organisation.

On completion delegates will:

- Describe the responsibilities of the internal auditor and the role of internal audits in maintaining and improving systems and delivering business benefits
- Understand the problems and business environment that contribute to how successful audits will be
- Apply differing questioning styles and sampling techniques to the audit of processes
- plan and prepare for an internal audit
- gather objective evidence through interview and sampling of records
- write factual nonconformity reports that help to improve the effectiveness of the management system
