Being able to add ISO 14001 to our audit service for customers

Stephen from Hydanis in Rossendale completed ISO 14001 Lead Auditor training in Leeds and found the course to be very valuable and took away a great deal of knowledge. He is now able to offer the environmental side of auditing to his customers.

What were your training objectives?

To be able to work as an associate in different standards as a Lead Auditor, with this course covering ISO 14001.

What learning did you take from the course?

The whole course was very good and I was really able to sit down and read and understand the questions. I gained so much knowledge from the whole course it’s impossible to highlight just one area.

There was a 1:1 role play scenario where the tutor was the CEO and it really tested me and he know just how much to push me and this really gave me confidence in my ability, and I will certainly take that back to work.

How was the tutor?

The tutor was fantastic, I can’t praise Frank and Mike highly enough they were great. They put me very much at ease and were extremely professional. I would even do the course again to meet the tutors!

What was the venue like?

Oulton Hall, Leeds – Stephen stayed as a residential delegate and found the venue adequate and he was well looked after

Any advice to delegates?

You don’t need to take all the standards and guidelines with you to the course just be aware of what they are. Don’t let this put you off.

Would you recommend Bywater?

I’m already looking at attending further training courses with Bywater – ISO 27001 and OHSAS 18001. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
