If you are already working with Lean methodologies and tools, or are planning to implement Lean in your organisation, you may find 5S a helpful extension to your skills.
5S looks at how unnecessary processing, inventory and other barriers to efficiency – known as ‘wastes’ – can be taken out to help an organisation become more efficient. It also helps individuals support others in driving a 5S approach.
Yes, you will be sent a certificate of attendance after course completion, providing evidence of your new skills attainment. The certificate is a valuable enhancement to your CV and LinkedIn profile, as well as a useful document to share with colleagues.
The 1-day course is equivalent to 7 hours CPD.
Kaizen is an approach that focuses on culture and philosophy to help build an environment of continuing improvement. If you think you would like to learn about Kaizen as well as 5S, then our Kaizen and 5S training course may be the right choice for you.
You could also take a look at the Value Stream Mapping training, which shows you how to visualise processes across the value chain to highlight where improvements can be made.
For those with a wider interest in continuing improvement, we offer comprehensive Lean Practitioner training as well as a range of certified Six Sigma courses.
