Workshops build across the course that consider defining a component list for a product, through exploring component functions and their requirements, to identifying and assessing potential failure modes, and how those failures can be controlled.

Upon completion of the course, delegates will have a basic knowledge of the FMEA methodology and how to apply it to improve product and process design, with the aim of identifying, controlling and eliminating the risk of failure.
