Understand the revisions in Issue 9 of the BRCGS food safety standard and how to implement those changes on this BRCGS Food Safety Issue 8 to 9 Conversion training course.
With Issue 9 published in August 2022 and certification against Issue 9 commencing in audits from 1 February 2023, this 1-day course is designed to prepare delegates for the new requirements in relation to audits and BRCGS certification.

Topics covered in the course include:
- standard format, scope and structure of the scheme
- meeting the requirements of the scheme
- changes in the new issue, including developing food safety culture and building core competencies
- the BRC Global Standards audit, including report writing
- use of and benefits of the BRCGS resources
On completion of this course, delegates will be able to:
- describe the aims of the BRCGS scheme
- identify and explain the changes to the standard from issue 8 to issue 9
- understand the requirements of the standard
- know what to expect from a BRCGS audit and how to carry out post-audit requirements
- access and use available resources
