This standard builds on the ISO 9001 standard for quality management systems, but has been extended to cover the specific requirements of organisations that design, develop or provide aviation, space and defence products and services. The detail of this standard is necessary to address the industry’s advanced requirements around factors such as safety, regulatory compliance, product complexity, traceability, supplier management, risk management, and customer expectations.
The 1-day tutor-led course is intended to provide delegates with an overview of the benefits and requirements for ISO9001 for quality management systems and the additional requirements of AS9100D.
