We employ a wide range of learning strategies within our courses, such as discussion, case studies, group exercises and questioning the tutor, to address all the styles of learning that work for different individuals.

One of many attendees who appreciated this approach said: ‘It was good to have such a variety of learning methods and was great we were put first into small and then bigger groups. That way, we could learn about others and it gave the opportunity to input rather than just sit and listen.’

Our course tutors are leaders in their fields, often with decades of practical experience in the application of their subject and many working for approval bodies and technical committees on the development of international standards.

Experienced and engaging, and even fun, are descriptions that constantly appear in delegate feedback:

  • ‘The tutor was fantastic, supportive, insightful, and generally put me at ease. Would highly recommend Bywater and the tutor!’
  • ‘An absolute pleasure, a few jokes, stories, and great participation and I’ve come out with a better willingness to learn more.’
  • ‘Fantastic tutor who clearly puts a lot of effort into the course material and was brilliant at identifying weaknesses and then tailoring the learning style to overcome them. I have already begun talks internally to send more colleagues on a course.’
  • ‘’Even though the days were long it didn’t feel like that as the tutor structured the course well.’

We do not offer recordings of our training courses for a number of reasons.

Bywater training courses are highly interactive, and we strongly believe that delegates make the most out of their training days by participating in the discussion groups, role plays, and questions and answers with the tutors.

In addition, if you do not attend all of the course, you will not be able to receive your certificate of attendance, which is evidence of your commitment and achievement, and which many delegates share with their colleagues and on LinkedIn, for example.

If you do miss part of the course, contact Bywater to discuss how to complete the training.

All our tutors receive positive feedback from delegates, and we work hard with the tutors to ensure a high quality of delivery.

However, we can certainly help you book the same tutor again.

If you attended a public course at one of our venues or in our Virtual Classroom, just get in touch and we can let you know who is scheduled to run future courses.

If we provided a dedicated course then certainly you can request the same tutor, and we can share their future availability with you. Many clients do book the same tutor for dedicated courses and this is an excellent opportunity to build a working relationship based on a deeper understanding of your business needs and aspirations.

This is very rare but occasionally the worst happens and a tutor is sick. We will do our best to replace the tutor with another equally capable one so the course can go ahead, or give as much notice as possible of any changes should we need to reschedule the course.
