5 Dec, 2016 | IATF 16949

In October 2016 the new global IATF standard was released, superseding ISO/TS 16949:2009 and aligning itself with ISO 9001:2015.

Timelines for organisations transitioning to the new standard are short. After September 2018, in line with the ISO 9001:2015 transition deadline, all ISO/TS 16949 certificates will no longer be valid.

Our specialist Automotive QMS trainers, Geoff Doole, Melanie Horne and Steve Buckle are currently updating our suite of Understanding IATF 16949:2016, Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor courses to reflect the changes and these will be ready for presentation in the New Year.

IATF 16949:2016 Transition Training
Also in development is a 2 day IRCA Certified IATF 16949 Transition Training course  which will be invaluable for anyone who has previously attended an ISO/TS 16949 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor course. This will be available in the New Year and the course will explore the changes between TS 16949:2009 and IATF 16949:2016 and what this means for Auditors and their organisations.

Full course descriptions, dates and locations for all our updated IATF 16949 courses can be viewed below. If you have more than 3 staff to train we can organise specific training for your organisation at your preferred date and location.
