Audit Situation 1

You are auditing a food processing factory and ask to see a copy of the quality objectives. The factory has two objectives: ‘Improve efficiency within the workplace’ and ‘Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times’. You ask the processing manager and operations director how the company plans to achieve these objectives and how the results will be evaluated. They explain that it is a start-up company and they have yet to create a plan detailing how to achieve the quality objectives.
