Training

Bywater offers introductory and advanced training courses around management systems and auditing for quality, environmental management and sustainability, health and safety, information security, business continuity, energy, laboratories, inspection bodies, medical devices, automotive, aviation and space, food safety and telecoms.

We also provide a wide programme of training courses for business improvement covering Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies, and courses on procurement and contract management.

As an Approved Trained Provider, we are proud that many of our courses are certified by external professional bodies, including our CQI and IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor training courses, IEMA Internal Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Auditor course, IOSH Approved Introduction to ISO 45001 course, and our RSS Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training courses. 

Our certified courses can act as a pathway to certification with a professional body. For example our CQI and IRCA Lead Auditor training courses satisfy the training requirements for IRCA certification whilst our CQI and IRCA Auditor Conversion courses allow existing lead auditors to achieve IRCA certification in a further discipline within 3 days.

We choose highly knowledgeable course tutors who are leaders in their fields, often with decades of practical experience in their subject. 

The training courses use interactive workshops, role plays and case studies to allow delegates to put ideas learnt into practice in preparation for applying the skills within the workplace.

Throughout the course delegates are encouraged to ask questions and take in group discussions to further increase their understanding of the subject. 

At the end of the training we always ask delegates to provide feedback on their experience, which we build on to continually improve our training programmes.
